Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00pm for 6 sessions Via Zoom (New TIme)
PLUS: Tuesday Oct 26th, 5:30-7:00pm at the Hilyard center – “Mask-querade” get together, dress up to match the theme of your Covid mask or come as you are with your favorite mask. This gathering is designed to put into practice what you have learned in the class and to address any socially awkward moment as well as gather feedback.  

The mission for Dating on the Spectrum is to create a socially and emotionally intelligent support group that models appropriate dating interactions through in-depth discussion, self-reflection, self-awareness, and engaged social interactions. These core activities provide a space where participants can learn how to express themselves openly, act safely in relationships, and consider healthy ways to navigate the dating scene. This training will include group discussions, group activities, and self-reflection activities for participants to engage in on their own time.
Included for free is the gathering described above on Friday October 29.

$162.54 per 6 week Session or Agency Rate

More about Cortney Brummond

Cortney Brummond is a certified Speech Language Pathologist, M.S. CCC-SLP, who has dedicated her career to improving the lives of those at risk or experiencing communication challenges. She is the owner of the private practice Speak Out Services and, as a veteran SLP, she has spent the past decade advocating for systemic changes in the education sector to promote understanding of communication development, strengthening the foundation for lifelong learning. She believes that investing in communication is, not only a necessity, but a human right for our communities, families, and children to live productive and enriching lives.

As an ally of the Autistic Community, Speak Out Services recently began offering ASD-ating: therapeutic supports intended to facilitate development of communication skills necessary in establishing deeper connections with a loving partner; along with expression of gender identities or sexual orientations, all within the safe, personal boundaries of individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Advocacy and services related to focusing on Autistic females as an exceptionally unique group is a focal point of Speak Out’s mission.
