Beth Davis

Springfield, Oregon

I am 38 (2022), and I have Aspergers.

I am an athlete with Special Olympics and compete in swimming, golf, and snowshoeing.

I am also a volunteer at Greenhill Humane Society and have been there for over 10 years. My favorite things to do at the shelter are grooming the dogs and helping out in the small animal room.

Some of my hobbies include playing with my three dogs, one hamster and one bird. I also enjoy listening to music, doing puzzles, gardening, arts and crafts, and helping out at North West challenge dock diving events, which is a dog and handler sport.

Doing art helps me express my mind and emotions in a constructive way. Some of my favorite projects to do are making 3D sculptures out of stuff I find around the house, taking photos, abstract drawings. I also enjoy sewing and needlework projects. I am also learning to do jewelry. I really enjoy making bird toys, see an example below… You might have even seen some of my work at the Lane County Fair or the KindTree Festival of Art for All.
