Change is good

Annual ReportWhen you've been doing something a certain way, it can be tough to change, even if the old way is not working. This year the Library, Recreation and Cultural Services Department let go of the 12-page paper annual report that very few read and opted instead for an online, interactive info graphic. It's interesting, it's fun, and we think many more people will view it. See for yourself.

Eugene's next fabulous sports venue

Skate park drawingOur sports-loving town is about to get another place to play. The WJ Skatepark + Urban Plaza will be the largest covered and lit skatepark in the U.S. when it officially opens June 21. Funding is still needed, however, for ongoing maintenance and programming. So watch for opportunities, such as merchant percent of gross sales events, and make your contribution to Eugene's next fabulous sports venue!
